Please also indicate whether or not you would like to receive alerts in HTML format. We recommend HTML, however, some older email systems may not support it. If you ever receive emails with graphics and working links, then you are probably equipped to receive HTML emails.
As a subscriber to SUN, you are asked to send us Incident Reports through our website by clicking on "Report an Incident" at the top of the page as soon as possible after an incident occurs, whether or not it is reported to the police. These reports go to the appropriate decision makers of the NYPD in near real time, and often result in safety tips and other important information for parents and school administrators in Manhattan North.
Names of schools and names of children involved in an incident are not transmitted in SUN Alerts.
