Participation Agreement:
I, , apply to be a volunteer for the Police Liaison Group, Inc. I understand that as a pre-condition of my being able to work with the Police Liaison Group, I must provide a letter of *Good Conduct* or /and *Character Reference* from my school, local police department and/or law enforcement unit to the Police Liaison Group’s Board of Directors. If I am applying to work on the administration of the Police Liaison Group website, or for a position where I am dealing with other sensitive information, I acknowledge that the Police Liaison Group may order a background check on me as well, prior to my being cleared for special training or my participation. I understand that the Police Liaison Group reserves the right to accept or reject any application, for any reason, in their sole and absolute discretion. I also acknowledge that I remain a volunteer at the sole discretion of the Police Liaison Group management, and may be removed or terminated with or without cause at any time. If I am applying for participation in any law enforcement divisions, I agree to provide any information requested by the law enforcement division of the Police Liaison Group to confirm my background with a law enforcement agency including, but not limited to, confirmation from my commanding officer.
If accepted as a volunteer for the Police Liaison Group, I will adhere to the Police Liaison Group’s Code of Conduct and Privacy Policy. I further agree to be bound by this confidentiality agreement, and I understand that I am prohibited from disclosing any information that I obtain during the course of my work for the Police Liaison Group unless authorized by appropriate Police Liaison Group management or by applicable law.
I understand that this obligation is a continuing one, and will survive my tenure in the Police Liaison Group. I further agree that all materials and information provided to me by Police Liaison Group will be returned to the Police Liaison Group, and that all materials developed or modified by me during the course of my activities for the Police Liaison Group shall be the property of Police Liaison Group and any successor organization (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
